#3. This
is an evening shot on Thursday after our first day at Camp Casey. In
the background between the trees you are looking down the dead-end road
most everyone camped on. On the left side of the picture are the crosses
signifying our dead troops.
The structure
on the left side was set up over the original 3 tents in the ditch but
evolved into a kind of shrine to the war dead. See close ups of it later.
