Military Recruiters on Rough Ground in Seattle

These military recruiters at Alki Beach in Seattle didn't get any enlistments.

We're not sure how this rock climbing thing was supposed to entice young people into the military. It may be the recruiters are reduced to grasping any kind of lure that might work. They knew they weren't getting anywhere with the previous come-on gimicks.

Hanging out at the high schools behind a table of keychains and free action figure dolls and other geegaws wasn't cutting it. Even tickets to a couple ball games didn't sweeten it up enough to clinch the deal. Oh, wait, wait, I forgot the discount coupon for a cut and style at the Hairs R-us salon...

Dear good people of Seattle, these are our children

These are our children they are trying to sucker to an early death for the glory of their Halliburton empire. Well, we have a few things to say about that.

Turns out these girls were planted "ringers". We found out later they are the recruiters' children.

The t-shirt is a nice touch for a recruiter's kid, don't you think?

We get the REAL public interest, while the military recruiters are over there talking to themselves.

It seems our visibility tools are more in demand than the recruiters' trinkets, which they can't even GIVE away.
